Shawnee is a Clinical Research Assisstant for the ACCELERATE Patient Research Study at the University of Pennsylvania. Her duties include tracking down and requesting medical records and tissue samples for the Castleman Warriors involved in the registry as well as inputting patient data into the registry. Currently Shawnee is completing her pre-health studies at the University of Pennsylvania's Pre-Health Post Baccalaureate program. The New Jersey native re-transplanted from Chicago where she received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University in Biocultural Anthropology and Global Health and worked as a Program Manager for the Partnership to Educate and Advance Kids (PEAK) after graduation.
