Alex is currently a neurosurgery resident at Duke Univeristy. He received his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, he graduated with a Bioengineering degree from Rice with a focus on medical devices. He will be working on the development of the ACCELERATE Patient Research Study. His interest in the CDCN lies in its effort to change the landscape of how we approach Castleman disease, and how we can create a platform to scale our efforts to other orphan diseases.
