Lisa M. Fajgenbaum is a Digital Media Advisor for the CDCN and a Family Risk Manager for BB&T Insurance Services. As a Family Risk Manager, she specializes in the implementation of comprehensive personal risk management programs, represents the nation’s leading insurance carriers, and works closely with both internal BB&T and external advisors to provide expertise in the design and management of personal insurance portfolios. As the Digital Media Team Lead for the CDCN, Lisa plays an integral role in marketing and communications for the organization. She has been a part of the CDCN’s growth since its inception, and her focus has been on creating a brand identity, from logo development to the mission and vision of the organization. In addition to providing guidance in the strategic direction of the CDCN, she also works closely with her volunteer counterparts to identify fundraising and awareness opportunities.
Prior to joining BB&T, Lisa served as the Director of the Young Alumni Program for the Duke University Annual Fund and an Account Planner with OnSport. Lisa is also a member of the National Students of AMF (Ailing Mothers & Fathers) Support Network’s Board of Advisors and a Fundraising Committee member. Additionally, she is a member of the Fundraising Committee for the North Carolina Hunter Jumper Association’s 2014 Annual Show and the liaison for BB&T and AIG’s event sponsorship. Lisa attended Duke University and graduated with a B. A. in Psychology (Personality and Social Behavior concentration) and a Certificate in Secondary Education.
