Dustin graduated from the University of Washington with dual degrees in biochemistry and neurobiology and holds a Ph.D. in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania. Following completion of his thesis, he joined the Penn Center for Innovation as a Life Science Licensing Officer. Subsequently, he was recruited to work as a Senior Associate in the Wistar Institute of Anatomy and Biology's office of Business Development. Dustin was initially a CDCN volunteer that facilitated research projects with non-profit and for-profit partners. In December 2016, Dustin was hired as a full-time employee to serve as the Associate Director of Research in December 2016. Dustin is honored to be able to help support finding a cure for a devastating orphan disease.
